Una Mens welcomes contributions that explore emotion, interaction, resonance, and communication across all dyadic systems—whether biological, technological, symbolic, or interpersonal. We invite theory, experiment, fieldwork, and collaborative inquiry into the structures and signals that shape shared presence.

Our Journal Focus

Scope includes (but is not limited to):

  • Emotion and waveform theory

  • AI-human communication

  • Dyadic synchronization (e.g., teacher/student, therapist/client, cat/human)

  • Nonverbal signal dynamics

  • Resonance in physiological systems

  • Cross-species communicative behavior

  • Psychological transformation via co-authorship

  • Communication breakdowns and breakthroughs

  • Micro-rituals, attention systems, and repair mechanisms

 

We welcome submissions including:

  • Experimental and exploratory research

  • Theoretical reflections and conceptual essays

  • Human–AI collaborative scholarship

  • Reflexive field notes, brief essays, and short-form entries
