Jayantika Chakraborty
Jayantika Chakraborty, Ph.D., is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at the College of the Holy Cross and an applied cognitive developmental psychologist. Her scholarship examines how economic inequality, material hardship, discrimination, and social context shape learning, cognition, and educational mobility across development. Her recent work extends this interest into intersectionality, including research on how education can cultivate awareness of intersecting forms of inequality. Across her research and teaching, she is especially interested in translating complex developmental and social questions into forms that invite careful inquiry and learning.
